Inspired by the Chinese term “人才市场” (Talent Market), the exhibition questions how graduation shows have increasingly become job fairs, where students are expected to prove their professional value and market themselves as products.
Rather than focusing solely on skills and employability, we want to celebrate who we are—our personalities, stories, memories, and unique talents. As the only two graduates from our program among nearly 300 graduating students, we brought our Cantonese roots and the lively, humorous spirit of Chinese street markets into a small exhibition space, creating an experience filled with playfulness, personality, and warmth for fellow graduates and visitors.
As we graduate, Talent Market is our celebration of what makes us different, and our wish for everyone to enter the next chapter with confidence in their own worth.
